3. Service Providers

Google

We use several services from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (hereafter: "Google") to improve our Service.

The “Google Custom Search Engine” (Google CSE) is used as a central search service within our online offering. The integrated search service enables a full-text search for content on this homepage. Access to this search function is possible via a search box integrated in the header of the individual websites.

To inform You, the text “Search with Google” is displayed in the search box. If the input field of the search box is selected by the user and filled with a search term, an additional link appears below the search box ("Information on Google™ search"), which refers to the information on data protection provided here.

Activation of search

By entering a search term in the search box and then pressing the enter key or the search icon (magnifying glass), the user activates the search function and the search results page, which is provided by Google Plugins, is called up and reloads the corresponding search results from Google. In doing so, data is transmitted to the search service.

Search Results Page

The plug-in developed and made available by Google (Google Custom Search Engine “Google CSE”) is integrated into the search results page by the operator of this homepage as a software module “as-is” (unchanged). The plugin enables automated communication (data exchange) between the search results page and the Google service when the search results page is called. The use of the search function provided by Google includes a dynamic transfer of data by the Service Provider Google to the search results page.

Transfer of data and Google CSE

Data is only transmitted to Google as soon as the user has called up the search results page. By using the search function within the search results page, user data is also transmitted to Google at the same time. If official web pages of this homepage are called up without activating the "Google user-defined search", no data will be transmitted to the search Service Provider (Google). There is an exception in cases where users directly reference a search results page though.

Consent to data transfer by using Google search

By using the full-text search and the associated access to the search results page, You consent to the transfer of data to the Google service. These include e.g. the search terms You entered and the IP address of the computer You are using.

Please note that different data protection standards apply to Google than to this Service. We point out that the processing, in particular the storage, deletion and use of any personal data that may be transferred, is the responsibility of the search Service Provider and that We have no influence on the type and scope of the data transferred as well as its further processing.

If You are logged into Google at the same time, the Google service is able to assign the information directly to Your user profile. You should log out to avoid the collection of Personal Data.

Further information from Google about the handling of user data (data protection declaration) is available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Youtube

On some of Our Website's pages we embed Youtube videos. The corresponding plug-ins are operated by YouTube which is owned by Google. When You visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, it will connect to Youtube's servers. Youtube will be informed which pages You visit. If You are logged into Your Youtube account, Youtube can connect Your surfing behavior to You personally. This can be prevented by logging out of Your Youtube account beforehand.

If a Youtube video is started, Youtube usually uses Cookies that collect information about user behavior. We use Youtube's "nocookie" embedding mode to avoid storage of Cookies.

But Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other Cookies. If You want to prevent this, You have to block the storage of Cookies in Your browser.

Further information on data protection at Youtube can be found in their privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
